The Mascot
Open format. Zero mercy on empty floors.
The coyote doesn't follow the trail — it makes one. That's the whole philosophy: no fixed playlist, no safe sets, just instinct, range and a floor that refuses to sit down.
Brooke Wylie / DJ Wylie Coyote
The Artist
Every crowd is a puzzle. I solve it in real time.
I'm Brooke Wylie — the open format DJ behind Wylie Coyote. Open format means no walls: hip-hop melts into house, a 90s anthem flips into an afrobeats groove, and your grandma's favourite song lands right after a mainstage drop. I read the room, not a playlist.
From packed club floors to once-in-a-lifetime wedding nights and polished corporate galas, I bring pro-grade sound, intelligent lighting and an MC presence that keeps the energy exactly where it needs to be — all night.
- ◆Club residencies & festival slots
- ◆Full pro sound & lighting rigs
- ◆MC services & custom edits
- ◆Seamless multi-genre reads

Word On The Floor
Client Love
"Brooke had our wedding guests on the floor from the first song to the last — three generations dancing together. She even nailed our obscure first-dance edit."
Sarah & Jake
Wedding, Napier
"We've booked Wylie Coyote for three street sets at Market St now. Every time the bar is packed and the vibe is unreal. Easiest booking decision we make."
Josh
Market St Bar, Venue Manager
"She flipped from 90s throwbacks into tech house without the floor ever dipping. Our crowd would not let her stop playing. Rebooked on the spot."
